While going on holiday has been a bit of a minefield over the last two years (staycations were our saving grace), it feels like travel, beaches, sunshine and food are well and truly back on the menu. This Black Friday, save money and bag a bargain on your next holiday or trip.
If you didn't already know, travel companies also get in on the Black Friday action these days and offering everything from bargain flights to cheap packages, so we're rounding up the best holiday deals to save you some pennies this year. Black Friday 2022 is on 25th November this year, but some of the deals have already started coming through -
2022's best Black Friday holiday deals
G Adventures
The global adventure travel company is offering up to 30% off selected trips departing before 30th April 2023, and 10% off trips departing between 1st May and 30th June 2023, in their Cyber Sale which runs from now until 30th November. Time to grab yourself the adventure of a lifetime!
Trips up for grabs include the Inca Discovery in Peru (from £804, down from £1,149pp), Thailand Island Hopping (from £524, usually £749pp) and Back Roads of Japan (from £2,422, usually £2,849). Sign us up.
Srprs.me
Mystery holiday provider srprs.me (yep, like surprise) is offering £50 off all trips worth more than £250, on any travel booked between 25th and 30th November. Their experts book the whole trip, from transport to accommodation, while also providing weather forecasts, so all you have to do is turn up with your suitcase and go!
PLAY airline
Running from 24th - 29th Noveber, Icelandic airline PLAY is offering 35% off flights to Iceland and 40% off flights to the US, flying between November 2022- March 2023. Flights depart from Stansted, Liverpool John Lennon and Dublin airports.

Resident hotels
Bookings made between 23rd - 29th November receive 20% off all non-refundable rooms, at any Resident Hotel (locations in London Victoria, Soho, Kensington and Liverpool.) Discount can be applied to any stay between now and the end of April 2023, with members also getting an additional 15% off stays.

2021's best Black Friday holiday deals
Virgin Atlantic
Virgin Atlantic offered up to £200 off selected flights and up to 10% off holiday packages for Black Friday, with flights to the USA starting at £343pp and to the Caribbean from £324pp.
Our favourite deals included 7 nights in Antigua including flights and hotel from £647pp, and flights, hotel and 3 nights in New York for £515pp.
Lastminute.com
Rebranding Black Friday as Pink Friday, but basically still offering the same major discounts as other travel companies, lastminute.com had some good savings, including up to £100 off all flights, hotels, house stays and hotel packages with their Pink Friday discount codes. But you'd better hurry, not only have the deals already started but they're only running until 30th November.
Alternatively, you can get a discount on specific holidays - such as Malta from £59 per person or Tenerife from £99 per person.
Wizz Air
Wizz Air went big on sales last Black Friday, with 40% off selected flights before 26th March 2022 if purchased on Friday 26th November.
For example you could fly London Gatwick to Athens from £19.19 each way, or grab some winter sun in Lanzarote for the same price.
Contiki
Contemporary guided tour company for 18-35s Contiki offered some big savings on trips booked between 23-30 November, plus you could get early access if you sign up for free.
You could save up to £159 off an eight-day trip to The Alps as well as up to £614 on a 12-day trip through Scandinavia, with more deals landing as the days went on.
Expedia
Expedia's Black Friday deals came with a bit of a catch, they were only available to members. Luckily it's free to sign up, and once you have done you get access to their huge members only Black Friday sale, which last year offered 30% or more off on thousands of hotels.
YOTEL
Tech-smart, minimalist, Japanese-inspired hotel chain YOTEL had a 40% discount (and flexible cancellation) on all stays until October 2022 if you book before 2 December. This meant you could stay at hotels in London, Glasgow, Amsterdam, New York, Istanbul, Dubai, Porto, Miami and Geneva for as little as £45pn. A genuine bargain.
Malmaison
For their Black Friday deal Malmaison offered rooms from £60 per person including a £25 voucher per person for dinner at Chez Mal (locations options include Aberdeen, Belfast, Birmingham, Brighton, Cheltenham, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Newcastle, Liverpool, Manchester and Reading) between 19 December 2021 and 31 January 2022. The deal was bookable from the 26th - 29th November.
Viceroy Hotels & Resorts
If booked before 6th December you could get up to 35% off a stay at several Viceroy locations, along with flexible cancellations. While there were specifics around various add ons and stay date windows, it was also applicable on hotels in St. Lucia, Chicago and Serbia.
