Gabby Logan goes off the deep end: Presenter enjoys a visit to iconic pool at Cliveden House where Profumo first spotted Christine Keeler

Ever since War Secretary John Profumo spotted good-time girl Christine Keeler swimming naked in the pool one hot sunny evening in 1961, Cliveden House in Buckinghamshire has been associated with sex and scandal.

Now BBC sports presenter Gabby Logan, 44, has been enjoying the iconic pool's delights on a recent visit to the hotel spa.

The former gymnast and mother of 12-year-old twins didn't go skinny-dipping a la Keeler, but kept her bathing suit on.

British piano prodigy George Harliono is only 16, but his extraordinary talent has impressed superstar musician Lang Lang.

George has just started at the Royal College of Music, but he was contacted last week by the Chinese pianist, 35, and asked to duet with him for two German concerts.

Lang Lang, who is recovering from an inflammation in his left arm, will pick George up in his private jet. 'It sounds pretty exciting,' George's father, David Evans, tells me.

Why Lord Fellowes was such a let-down for 'rival' Daisy

Does Victoria writer Daisy Goodwin think of herself as a serious rival to Downton Abbey creator Julian Fellowes?

'I don't like to think he is jealous, but I've met him two or three times and he's never been as friendly to me as I have been to him,' she revealed at the Cliveden Literary Festival.

'I think to myself, why would that be? After all, I was nice to him and said how much I loved Downton.

'And when I saw him again I told him: 'I'm your biggest fan.'

'I admit I was disappointed he wasn't more warm towards me because I think he's great and an inspiration'.
