She and Romi, her three-month-old baby, make regular trips to Bridgnorth, starting from Birmingham, West Midlands.

Shanelle, who owns her own spa, said that she has met other moms and learned tips for calming Romi.

“Going to the spa has been so beneficial for both of us,”She spoke.

“It’s great to be able to go out and have some structure in my day, especially as a new mom.”

Romi loves it. It’s such a peaceful environment.

“He never used to want to have a bath at night, but since we’ve been going I can sort of recreating the spa at home and he loves it.”

Lauren Edwards, 28, runs the spa called ‘Lollitots’. She describes it to be the ultimate tranquil experience. There are also separate baby yoga and massage classes.

Shanelle stated: “Lauren is so knowledgeable that she shares it with us.

She has been practicing spa treatments for many years and also teaches classes in massage and baby yoga.

“She taught me how to massage Romi’s jaw when he begins teething.

“It is crazy that she knows this much, even though she does not have any of her children.

“It’s also great to meet and chat with other mums because I can ask them questions, and make some new mum friends.”

Spa sessions include an hour and a quarter with the babies in the tub, with soothing lighting and songs.

Shanelle explained: “There’s all these flashing lights and you are just spending some time with your baby while they have a bath, having a little play with and giving them water.

Lauren shows everyone how to massage them after they get out of the hot tub.

“Then, we do a little facial for the babies.

“Romi always falls asleep so well after we’ve left, it makes him feel so relaxed.

“It just sets the mood for everyone, and helps him and I relax.”
