The much-anticipated finale of The Bachelor is fast approaching, with Nick 'The Honey Badger' Cummins set to choose between either Brittany Hockley or Sophie Tieman.

And stunning aerial photos have emerged of the five-star retreat where Nick will make his fateful decision.

The Sheraton New Caledonia Deva Spa & Golf Resort, located on the west coast of New Caledonia, boasts views over the UNESCO World Heritage-listed barrier reef on one side, and the hills of the protected Deva Estate on the other.

With 180 rooms, suites and beachfront bungalows, plus tropical gardens and an 18-hole golf course, there is plenty of space for Nick to wander while he makes up his mind about who to choose as his girlfriend.

Meanwhile, Nick, his final two girls and the Bachelor crew will certainly be staying in comfort.

All the sleeping quarters feature the Sheraton Signature Bed, a separate bath and shower, a flat-screen TV, air conditioning and, of course, a complimentary hair dryer.

Being the outdoorsy type, the former Wallaby will feel at right home as the resort offers a variety of activities, including horseback riding, jet skiing, kayaking, scuba diving, volleyball and snorkelling.

A 900sqm beachfront infinity pool is also on site if Nick fancies taking a dip or doing some laps.

The resort's Deep Nature Spa and yoga classes will provide ample stress relief and opportunities for recovery from any physical exertion undertaken on the island paradise.

The resort's signature restaurant, The Reef, boasts an outdoor terrace and serves meals from South East Asia, Melanesia, Kabylie and Europe, all made from local ingredients.

The Sand Beach Grill, by contrast, offers French cuisine consisting of meat and seafood dishes, served by the beach.

Meanwhile, the Creek Bar is the largest largest rum bar in New Caledonia. Thirsty guests can sip house-made rum cocktails by an infinity pool while being fanned by ocean breezes.

There are just six girls left on The Bachelor, but only two - Brittany and Sophie - will fly overseas for the finale.

It is widely rumoured that Brittany receives Nick's final rose - but the couple's relationship doesn't last.

A production source told Daily Mail Australia earlier this month: 'The Honey Badger's relationship is already over. This is obviously not what we wanted.'

Meanwhile, it emerged last week that Nick will be overseas when finale airs next month, possibly in a bid to avoid public scrutiny over his split with the winner.

Nick told Daily Mail Australia in a statement that the trek was organised before he signed on to The Bachelor.

He said: 'Walking the Kokoda Trail has been a dream of mine for many years. The opportunity to team up with the Grass Skirt Project and take keen adventurers to Papua New Guinea came about late last year, before I committed to The Bachelor. To say I am leaving the country for any other reason is completely false and misleading.'

The Bachelor continues Wednesday at 7:30pm on Network Ten
